An evening celebrating Berlin MS/HS artists and their creations was held on May 30th. This community event was hosted by the MS/HS Art Department, Mrs. Colbert and Mrs. Wallace. The evening included a student art exhibit, photography raffle, best in show competition and the unveiling of the wall mural that was designed, drawn and painted by 70 students over the course of two years.
This is the first year the Berlin Track and Field team has combined with New Lebanon to form one program.With a new track in Berlin on the way, the school boards decided now was the time to start working together to build a stronger program. The student-athletes have worked hard to make one cohesive unit, according to the coaches.
For the first time ever, an all-district Choral Concert was held on Wednesday, May 29. Students gave outstanding performances!
Berlin MSHS is giving students the opportunity to decide on how specific funds are spent within our school. The students were asked through a survey what they wanted to add to their school. The students were asked to take into consideration that the projects should benefit as much of the school as possible and should cost under $2,000.
All Families of students with an IEP or 504 plan are invited to attend a Special Education Parent and Family Information Night on Monday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Berlin MS/HS Library.
