Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie # 2467 Make Generous Donation to Helping Hands

Mrs. Deanna Baker and Berlin Central School District’s Helping Hands would like to express their gratitude to the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie # 2467 in Hoosick Falls for their generous donation of $1,000 to BCSD’s Helping Hands.
A special thank you to Berlin Elementary first-grade teacher Mrs. Kelly Berkau, who is on the board of Aerie # 2467 as Conductor, for her role in securing this donation.
Pictured below is Mr. Mark Hansen presented Mrs. Berkau with the donation for Helping Hands.
Helping Hands is a committee of teachers, faculty, and volunteers that support the students and families of Berlin Central School District. The services provided include Food Pantry/Backpack Program, Holiday Bears, and Winter Gear giveaway.

Berlin Elementary School’s Helping Hands would like to say a big THANK YOU to Saint Gobain in Hoosick Falls. Helping Hands received a donation of four large boxes of gently used clothes and shoes for its program. Helping Hands is grateful for this type of support from its community.

Holiday Bears 1/23/22 
BCSD’s Helping Hands thanks the many supporters of our Holiday Bears program at Berlin Elementary. This year we supported 45 families, making 116 local children very happy. We could not have done it without the commitment of our staff at BES, Our Lady of Snow of Grafton, Shelley Salon and Day Spa of East Greenbush, Greywacke Meadows and the donors from the Festival of Trees. A big thank you to the Stephentown Federated Church, Berlin Family Dollar, local families and supporters as well as the office of Rensselaer County. We look forward to continuing to work with all of you this year. – Helping Hands of BES
