News from Helping Hands
4/14/21: BES Helping Hands would like to thank the staff who donated to the Spare Change Collection. We collected $270! We will be donating this to the Berlin Food Closet and they will in turn be using this money to purchase items for their Summer Lunch program. This program will directly support our BES students.
BCSD please check out the flyer below with information about the current district-wide Food Drive!
Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
3/22/21:Thank you to those who donated mittens and gloves. We greatly appreciated it. We wanted to share a few exciting things that have been happening with our Food Pantry. We recently received a large donation from Doors of Hope of West Sand Lake. They donated over 10 large boxes of canned goods, cereal and snacks to our Food Pantry. Thank you Doors of Hope!! We also received $500 from the Stewarts Holiday Match Program. Our food pantry was chosen from numerous organizations to receive this donation. Thank you to those who donated to The Holiday Match Program and thank you to Stewarts for supporting us.
