New York State Education Law §926 requires school districts to provide information to families about: drowning prevention, water safety, and safe and healthy swimming. Families are encouraged to review water safety information with their children and take steps to help prevent accidents in and around bodies of water. Learn more here.

At the end of the school year, Berlin Elementary’s 2nd grade (soon to be 3rd grade) created a presentation to celebrate America’s 250th birthday! The students worked with their teachers, Mrs. Healy, Mrs. Tregger, Mrs. Ruebel, and Mrs. Kneer, to share a play with the school community. Read on and find the video here.
This morning, the fifth-grade Mountaineers were celebrated in a ceremony to mark their transition from Berlin Elementary School to Berlin Middle High School. On June 24th, the kindergarteners at Berlin Elementary participated in the 2026 Kindergarten Moving On Ceremony in the elementary gymnasium. Find a highlight from the event here.
A Summer Food Service Program will start Monday, July 6th. Berlin CSD will be providing meals for a period of up to 8 weeks to sites in Stephentown and Grafton. Find out more here.
