Mission Statement (prior to merger)
The purpose of the Berlin Athletics Booster Club is to provide morale, volunteerism, and the support necessary to assure our program’s sustainability for years to come!
What is the Booster Club?
The Booster Club is a non-profit 501c3 organization established to provide positive opportunities for our student athletes in both districts via fundraising above and beyond the schools budgetary coverings. There are no membership fees, just a dedicated group of VOLUNTEERS including parents, coaches, athletes & community members all who help in various ways throughout the year! The organization is legally established in NYS governed via established by-laws by a group of elected officers.
How does the Booster Club raise funds?
We hold one annual raffle fundraiser in the Fall that benefits all sports programs! Teams can also hold individual fundraisers to benefit that program specifically. Examples of past fundraisers have included: Product Sales, Soccer Tournaments, Mountain Madness, etc.
How does the Booster Club give out funds?
Fund Requests forms are available from the Booster Club or Coach. Forms must be submitted to the Booster Club for approval of any & all funds going out.
Ways to get involved?
- Attend a monthly meeting. (Check FB or school calendars for upcoming dates)
- Ideas…..we love your ideas!
- Volunteer your time at an upcoming event
- Donate an item at an upcoming event
- Volunteer to be a “Team Parent”
- Volunteer behind the scenes with designing programs, flyers, collecting donations, etc.
