As the 2023-2024 school year comes to a close the BCSD IT Department will begin collecting student chromebooks, iPads, laptops and their respective chargers or any other district equipment that was assigned to a student. Find out more here.

Congratulations to the 2024 Berlin CSD Tenured Staff Members: Justin Covell, Mary Lou Hunt, Jillian Schnoop, Steliana Philip, Andrea Kozel, and Theresa Stott. A reception will be held for this year’s Tenure/Retirement Recognition on June 18, 2024 at 6:15 pm in the BMHS cafeteria.
Earlier this month, accomplished Berlin Elementary principal Tracy Kent announced her intent to retire. With a ringing endorsement from the faculty and staff at BES, the district is excited to share that at their regular board meeting scheduled for June 18th, the Board of Education will appoint Jodi Cataldo as the next principal of Berlin Elementary School effective July 1, 2024. This year BHS students Madison Lenyk, Elizabeth Hunt, Jaid Vazquez, and Marissa Yerdon who took Mr. Christian’s unique Marine Biology Independent Study class, once again were able to successfully raise Moon Jellyfish from polyps to embryos and finally to hatched Moon Jellies. The students were able to donate just under 100 Moon Jellyfish to the Via Aquarium! Read on here.
This year the BES Ambassadors took on a community-building project. The goal was to share stories and build relationships that span the generations. The hope is that the project continues to grow, creating long lasting bonds between the generations. Read more about it here.
