This year BHS students Madison Lenyk, Elizabeth Hunt, Jaid Vazquez, and Marissa Yerdon who took Mr. Christian’s unique Marine Biology Independent Study class, once again were able to successfully raise Moon Jellyfish from polyps to embryos and finally to hatched Moon Jellies. The students were able to donate just under 100 Moon Jellyfish to the Via Aquarium! Read on here.
The 17th Annual New England Frag Farmers Market was the biggest single day Coral Trade Show in the country, and the Berlin Middle High School’s Aquatics program was one of the participants. Read more about it and find a video highlight of the trip and the BMHS Young Aquatics Lab here.
BHS Seniors Raymond Ericson, Elsie Corbett and Samantha Rokjer, who took Mr. Christian’s unique Marine Biology Independent Study class this year, were able to successfully raise and donate over 100 Moon Jellyfish to the Via Aquarium! Read more here.
Mr. Toole’s Freshwater Studies students released the Brown Trout they raised this school year into the Little Hoosic River on Wednesday 4/26. Read more about the project here.
