This week is Read Across America Week, which runs from 3/2-3/6. The week’s purpose is to celebrate reading, encourage reading and educate about its benefits and it also helps to kick off National Reading Month. Read more about BCSD’s participation in the celebration here

On February 16th, the day before winter break, Berlin Elementary School’s three third grade classrooms set up stations with each room taking on an activity to celebrate the year of the dragon! Read more about it here.
During the month of March (starting the week of March 4th) at Berlin Elementary students in grades K-2nd will participate in the second annual March Madness Tournament of Books to celebrate National Reading Month.
