Community Active Mountaineers and the Berlin Free Town Library Collaborate on a StoryWalk
The Berlin “StoryWalk” is a community project that aims to boost literacy and vocabulary beyond the classroom, which is crucial for academic success.
With the focus of engaging children’s creative literacy, the Community Active Mountaineers (CAM) launched the StoryWalk project as part of the Berlin Elementary Nature Trail. This community service is in collaboration with the Berlin Free Town Library and led by CAM advisor Elisa Hammersmith. Read on here.
BCSD Transportation Childcare Form
Please fill out this BCSD Transportation Childcare form found here if you wish to have your child(ren) picked up and/or dropped off at a childcare location. Please submit this form to the Transportation Department as soon as possible, so that your child(ren) can be placed on the correct bus route for pick up and drop off locations. REMINDER: PLEASE NOTE THIS FORM IS ONLY IF YOUR STUDENT(S) NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP OR DROPPED OFF BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN THEIR HOME ADDRESS.

Local Food Pantry Provides Summer Lunch Program
Thank you to the Berlin Community Food Closet volunteers and coordinator Mrs. Dianne Mosher for providing a Summer Lunch Program for students and families in need residing in the Berlin Central School District. The Berlin Community Food Closest is helping to support 47 children from the 23 families enrolled. Read on and find local food pantry information here.
