March Madness Book Tournament: Who Will Be This Year’s Book Champion?

During the month of March at Berlin Elementary grades K-2 are participating in a March Madness Tournament of Books to celebrate National Reading Month. The book tournament is modeled after March Madness in college basketball. Each week students will listen to two read alouds in their classroom and vote on which one they liked more. The winning books advance until there is a champion.

Find the book list of this year’s contenders below. If you would like to read these books at home with your Mountaineers too check your local libraries! One of our district’s best resources.

Let’s go Mountaineers! We can’t wait to see which book you select as this year’s March Madness Champion!

If you have any questions please reach out to BCSD Literacy Coach and organizer Mrs. Glickman aglickman@berlincentral.org.
