Congratulations to Berlin Elementary School’s January Character Counts and Merit award winners. Each month during the Character Education assembly the award winners are announced.
Being a Berlin Elementary Mountaineer means being responsible, safe and respectful. Merits are given out each month by BES staff and bus drivers to celebrate BES Mountaineers who demonstrate these traits. These students are given merits that are deposited in the Mountaineer Merit container found in BES’ main hallway.
Principal Kent and Assistant Principal Cataldo draw ten merit recipients (five from kindergarten to second grade and five from third to fifth grade) who receive recognition at the monthly assemblies and a prize.
