Today is School Lunch Hero Day! When we say school nutrition professionals are heroes, we mean it! These team members make a difference for every child that comes through the cafeteria. Between preparing delicious food, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies and offering service with a smile, our nutrition professionals have a lot on their plate. That’s why we’re celebrating all their hard work and commitment today. A big thank you to everyone on our Berlin CSD food service team for all of your hard work and dedication to the students, staff and food service program at Berlin Central School. Please take a moment out of your day and thank Heidi Colin, Jen Goodermote, Kim Denue and Lora Patterson Dunlop.

Prom tickets are on sale for the next two weeks. Tickets are $65 each and can be purchased outside the library during homeroom and periods 2 thru 5 OR in the cafeteria during period 8. You must be eligible to buy tickets and attend prom. You do have time to get eligible, so do not wait. Please make checks payable to Berlin Class of 2025.

If you still have eclipse glasses, Ms. Day will be collecting them until Friday, May 10th and then shipping them off to South America for the October 2nd Solar Eclipse that will begin in the southern Pacific Ocean and cross over Chile and Argentina before ending in the southern Atlantic Ocean. You will not need those glasses because it will not be visible here in NY. The next Solar Eclipse in NY, won’t be until the year 2079…55 years from now.

The Student Council will be hosting a silent auction for the Family Fun Day on May 18.  If you have any new or gently used items that you would like to donate, please either bring them in or contact Mrs. Gilbert.
