Congratulations to Berlin Elementary School students Quinnrose Hastings and Grayson Votra. The fifth-grade students were honored last evening, May 6th, at Hudson Valley Community College for receiving the 2024 Capital Zone Sandra G. Morley Physical Education Student Leadership Award.
This award is given to students who show leadership and excellence in physical education.
The criteria for the award…
- Demonstrates responsible personal and social behavior, sportsmanship, and citizenship.
- Desire to learn and improve.
- Exhibits a physically active lifestyle.
- Demonstrates leadership and is a positive influence on peers.
- Has contributed toward the school program.
The students were recognized and celebrated along with students from all over the Capital Region who also received the award.
