BES Art teacher Mrs. MacDonald recently displayed the vibrant and creative work of 4th and 5th grade Mountaineers in the elementary school’s main hallway. The young artists studied the work of Dutch Post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh. They compared and contrasted his paintings and then created their own inspired by van Gogh’s most famous painting “Starry Night”. Take a look at their artwork below.
