This year’s supply drop-off was a great way to start the 2022-2023 school year early at Berlin Elementary.
BES Principal Ms. Tracy Kent and BES’ new Assistant Principal Ms. Jodi Cataldo welcomed and guided Mountaineers and their families to their new classrooms.
The students dropped off their supplies, got a peek at their classrooms, had an opportunity to say hello to their new teachers and visited with teachers from previous years.
This event was also a great chance for families to walk around and see all the recent improvements that have taken place inside and outside of the school building.
Berlin Central School District’s new School Resource Officer (SRO) Deputy Austin McGuire was also on hand to welcome the elementary students and their families, answer any questions and get familiar with the new community he has become a part of this year.
Thank you to all those who “chalked the walk” yesterday, it was a fun welcome sign for the BES staff.
“It was wonderful to see so many students with their families at the supply drop-off!” shared Ms. Cataldo and Ms. Kent. “ We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the first day of school on Tuesday, September 6th. It’s a great day to be a Mountaineer!”
