Berlin CSD is excited to welcome Mrs. Meghan Reynolds to the district as the Berlin Middle High School Assistant Principal and Berlin Athletic Director for the BNL Athletic program.

Mrs. Reynolds has been working closely with Berlin Middle High School Principal Mr. David Bernsley, New Lebanon Athletic Director Mr. Corey Brown, and Assistant to the BNL Athletic Directors Mrs. Candy Hudson over the past two weeks and is settling into her new position at BMHS wonderfully. Mrs. Reynolds is happy to have this summer to prepare and hit the ground running come fall.

“Meghan Reynolds brings with her a wealth of experience and a proven track record of dedication to education and athletics,” said BMHS Principal, David Bernsley.

Her experience, coupled with her passion for both academics and athletics, will undoubtedly enrich our school community and inspire our students to achieve their fullest potential.”

What will your role/position be in the district?

I am the Berlin Middle High School Assistant Principal and Berlin Athletic Director for the BNL Athletics Program.

What is your education background?

I received my Associates Degree at Hudson Valley Community College, went onto Castleton University for my Bachelor’s Degree and attained my Masters Degree from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA).

What is your background like – previous jobs?

I worked at Waterford-Halfmoon High School for 22 years as a Physical Education teacher, Athletic Director for six years and the Girls Varsity Soccer coach for the last nine years.

“While coaching the Girls Varsity Soccer team Meghan coached her team to  win the New York State Class C Champions in 2022 and 2023,” shared Principal Bernsley.  “Meghan’s outstanding coaching abilities were recognized with the New York State Class C Coach of the Year awards in both championship years.”

Tell us about your family?

I have three kids a sophomore, 8th grader and 6th grader.  They are all active in soccer, football, basketball, baseball, and softball.  This definitely keeps my husband and I very busy.

What are your interests outside of school?

I love sports! I love watching my kids’ games and attending NCAA basketball, Knicks and Giants games.  I also love spending time with friends and family.
