On Monday, May 13th, Berlin High School Senior Art Students traveled to Saratoga Springs for NYSATA’s Olympics of the Visual Arts (OVA) – a annual statewide art competition that Berlin has participated in since 2015. This year, Josie Cummings, Abby Thela and Ashlee Evans competed in the Fashion Category with their “Night Guard” garment for the “Spyware” OVA themed prompt. Madison Lenyk participated in the Painting Category with their “Mushroom Scape” piece to fulfill the “Dreamscape” OVA themed prompt. There was some stiff competition so although we didn’t come away with awards this year, Mrs. Colbert & Ms. DeCelle are proud of our teams’ hard work and dedication!
