On Wednesday 4/26 the BNL Modified Baseball team played Stillwater on their home field in New Lebanon.
Jude Losaw started on the mound for BNL and was relieved by Will Snyder who came and pitched a great game.
Landon Chuck had a great hit to right field, hustling for a double.
Although it was a tough loss, the team kept their heads up and are all looking forward to today’s 4/27 game against Hoosick Falls at 4:30 pm at New Lebanon.
The baseball knowledge for the team is growing with every practice and game. They are showing great teamwork and enthusiasm for the game of baseball.
As coaches we have pushed the kids to want to do better, earn their positions, gain discipline, and enjoy the game.
This is a large group of student athletes for a modified baseball team, but this is promising for the combined sports program and the future of the baseball program. -Coach Hastings and Coach Hitchcock
