Last week during grade levels meetings BMHS Principal Mrs. Brownell explained that eligibility for all extracurricular activities and school sponsored events will go into effect at a later time in April. Berlin Athletic Director Mr. McFall also met with students to explain that athletic eligibility is in effect, which reflects the BNL Code of Conduct, posted on the district website, under the Athletics tab and by clicking on the BNL Code of Conduct link here https://berlincentral.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/2022-23-New-LebBerlin-athletic-code-of-conduct.pdf.
BMHS hopes that this shift in the academic eligibility timeline for extracurricular activities and school sponsored events will provide students and parents time to understand this new procedure and give everyone the opportunity to ask any questions they may have on the process.
Before the academic eligibility is rolled out for extracurricular activities, an announcement will be made and the eligibility procedures will be communicated to all stakeholders.
This has removed the eligibility requirement for the spring dances on March 31st.
