BNL Modified Girls Soccer vs Tamarac Coach Recap 9/23
The BNL Girls Modified Soccer Team played a fantastic game and walked away with their first win 2-1 over Tamarac. They dominated most of the game and impressed Coach Bridgie with their determination. Ms. Emma Shorter found the net in the 2nd quarter, as well as Tamarac, leaving the score tied going into the 3rd quarter when Ms. Elliot Smith made her first ever goal. Both goals were assisted by Ms. Maddie Prusky who played a spectacular unselfish game in front of the goal. The entire team came together and played their positions and this game was beyond my expectations. I can’t wait to watch them grow and assure themselves with confidence with every game. -Coach Bridgie
BNL Modified Boys Soccer vs Tamarac Coach Recap 9/23
The BNL Modified Boys Soccer team held on strong in a tough match on Friday night against Tamarac. Ending in a tied game after overtime 1-1. BNL’s offense pressed hard out of the gate and Cale Maxon snuck one into the corner of the net just before the whistle at the end of the 1st. Our strikers made several more attempts on goal and our wingmen worked hard to keep close to the net while Tamarac’s defense blocked left and right. The second quarter Tamarac answered back with a goal of their own but impenetrable defense from Zeke Collin, Jack Hart, Joey Zvirdzin and outstanding goalkeeping by Gabe Smith made sure it was the only one they’d see. Amazing job from the whole team! Thank you for giving it your all to the very end!!! -Coach Crimmel
