The Berlin Middle School Science Olympiad team traveled to Goff Middle School in East Greenbush on Saturday February 12 to compete in the Capital District Regional Competition. The Berlin students took turns competing in different types of science and technology events. This year’s team included Avyn Capasso, Zeke Colin, Nathan Goodermote, Addison Mosher, Mary Perkins, Markell Popov, Valentina Popov, Emma Scraper, Norah Smerdon, Anthony Wood and Lukas Zuke. Berlin’s Middle School Science Olympiad team took home medals in Mission Possible, Mousetrap Vehicle, Ping Pong Parachute, Storm the Castle and Write it/Do it. Mr. Scannell and Mrs. Hayes are excited to see all of our team members grow and compete in future Science Olympiad competitions. -Mrs. Hayes
