The BNL Bowlers travelled to Saratoga Strike Zone early Tuesday morning for an all day league event. The League Tournament entails a total of six games, split between a morning and an afternoon block. This format, featuring two different oil patterns, challenges bowlers’ endurance and stamina. BNL came out strong in the morning block, averaging 165 as a team. Comparatively, the team’s regular season match average was only 130. Danny Hunt led the morning charge with a 498 series, shooting a high game of 185. Micayla Price was right behind with a 480, scoring her new personal game – a 213 – in game 3. Mica’s 213 was the high game from  the team for the entire tournament, the only 200 game scored by BNL. Just behind Mica was Nate Hendricks with a 479. Nate came out strong in games 1 and 2, scoring 180 then 179. Other notable games from the morning block were: Jake Brazie 181, Logan Dunlop 169, Lane Moshimer 158, and Alex Reinhart 152. Scores in the afternoon were a bit lower, with Danny Hunt’s 172 in game 4 the high game of the block. The bowlers finished 5th, an improvement from their 6th place finish in 2020.
