This year each Berlin Elementary fourth grade student made a diorama that represents an Iroquois village. Included in the diorama is the type of shelter, palisade walls, and many natural resources that the Iroquois depended on to live.

The fourth graders are currently working on an informational essay about a topic from the Iroquois. Students have been studying this unit through teacher lessons, books, videos, and even a virtual field trip to the New York State museum.
