Berlin vs. Stillwater
On January 21, the Berlin bowlers took to the lanes and had another great match. The team scored their best Varsity total of 2,700 pins! While they did not take any points from Stillwater, all bowlers showed great gains and improvements. Kasey Billert led the team with a 535 series, tossing games of 165, 191, and 179. Danny Hunt started with a nice 211 game and finished with a 513 series. Matt Hart had a consistent and impressive day, rolling games of 152, 159, 146. Jordanne Brazie had nice games with 148, 146. All bowlers looked good, with Paris DeFilippis and Alex Reinhart showing great consistency on JV. 
Berlin vs. Saratoga Catholic
On Tuesday, January 19, the bowling team had a close match against Saratoga Catholic. The bowlers were only 27 pins away from their first match points of the season. Saratoga Catholic managed to win all the points, but the Berlin bowlers had some impressive games during the match. As the bowlers gain consistency throughout the season look for them to start taking match points soon! Tuesday’s high games came from Kasey Billert with a 176 and a 171, Jordanne Brazie with a 151 and 191, Daniel Hunt with a 160 and 154; and Logan Dunlop with a 152. Matt Hart had an impressive 187 for his first game on JV before moving up to Varsity. All of the bowlers are making improvements and looking better and better each day.
 
Thank you to the Berlin bowling coaches, Ms. Marbort and Mr. Slaver, who are working hard to coordinate matches and adhere to the safety measures required this year.
