BMHS Announces June Regents and End of Year Schedule

Please find a letter from Berlin Middle High School Principal Bernsley below regarding the end-of-year schedule for students in grades 6-12. This letter was emailed home to all BMHS families on June 3, 2024.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we approach the conclusion of the academic year, please find below the schedules for the Regents and end-of-year assessments for students in grades 6-12.

On June 4th, the Algebra I Regents Exam will take place from 8:45 am to 11:45 am. To ensure an optimal testing environment, there will be no school for students in grades 6-12 except for those taking the Algebra I Regents Exam, as well as students taking practice Geometry and Algebra II exams.

On June 4th, students enrolled in the morning session of Questar CTE will follow their regular bus schedule for transportation to and from school. They will be picked up from the school building, transported directly to Questar, and then either returned directly to their homes, or if necessary, back to the school after their program ends. The transportation office will handle transportation arrangements for students attending the afternoon session at Questar.

For students in grades 9-12 taking morning Regents exams, transportation will be provided at the usual time. Those taking only afternoon exams will have an alternative bus run arriving at school at approximately 11:20 a.m. If your child requires extended testing time and transportation home, arrangements will be made by the district.

Students not taking the bus during Regents exams must arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. for morning exams and by 11:45 a.m. for afternoon exams.

Furthermore, the last day for all students in grades 7-12 will be Thursday, June 13th. Only students with Regents exams will attend school between June 14th and June 25th.

 For 6th-grade students, full days of school will continue until Friday, June 21st (June 19, 2024 – Juneteenth – Berlin CSD – No School), with half days on June 24th and 25th, dismissing at 11:45 am on both days.
