Two Berlin High School teams and one Berlin Middle School team competed in the Regional Envirothon Competition yesterday 4/25 at the Gilboa Power Authority.
The teams competed in areas of soil, wildlife, forestry, aquatics and a current environmental condition. This year was renewable energy for a sustainable future.
Our first high school team – Caleb Rogers, Seth Hendrick, Nate Hendricks, and Nate Mace placed 2nd in the county and 6th regionally.
Our second high school team, Jurassic Park Enviroteam – Owen Lowry, Nathan Goodermote, Curtis Hurd, and Kaylee Ferrarin came in 3rd in the county and 8th regionally.
Berlin Middle school team, Green Thumbs -Rachel Smith, Savannah Hammon, Chloe Hart and Luke Turetsky placed first in their category in the county!
