Seal-a-Smile, a school based oral health program, will be visiting Berlin Central School District in April.

If you are interested and have not already returned a sign up form, please reach out to School Nurses Mrs. Corsey at mcorsey@berlincentral.org or Mrs. Jean Hammond at Jhammond@berlincentral.org to have a registration packet sent home with your child.

Seal-a-Smile was established to provide preventative dental care to school aged children in schools serving high need communities.

The program serves over 3,000 children annually in schools located in Albany and Rensselaer County.

The hygienists provide dental screenings, cleanings, fluoride treatments and dental sealants to students in grades Pre-K through 8th grade with or without dental insurance. Families are not billed for services.

Seal-a-Smile was initiated in 2003 by HCDI’s Children’s Oral Health Advisory Board with support from the New York State Bureau of Dental Health. In 2006, Seal a Smile was recognized by the Healthcare Association of New York State with the 2006 HANYS’ Community Health Improvement Award. For more information on Seal-a-Smile visit
