BNL Varsity Bowling Sectionals Coach Recap
Congratulations to the BNL Bowlers on a tremendous season! The Mountain Lions ended their season on Tuesday with a 17th place finish at Sectionals. Competing in a field of 26, the bowlers had many impressive moments throughout the day as well as many learning experiences to build upon next season. Noah Bonesteel had a standout performance in the morning block, rolling 183, 202, 189 for a new high series of 574. Noah rolled a final game of 187 to end the day, finishing with a 6 game total of 1,024. Devin Reichert was also impressive all day, shaking off early morning nerves to finish with a high game of 178 for a 450 afternoon series; 6 game total 803. Shoutout to Noah and Devin who were the only two Mountain Lions to bowl all six games. The other bowlers were all very impressive though, as everyone saw time on the lanes and experienced success, grinding out tough frames when they needed to. Kaylee Ferrarin rolled high games of 178, 155; Myra Snyder highs of 155, 159; Gabe Florada 145, Avyn Capasso 138, Curtis Hurd 120. The coaches are proud of all bowlers and commend them on their hard work this season. Everyone is looking forward to some off-season rest and training before tackling the lanes again next November!  -Coach Marbot and Coach Murphy
