The “Artist of the Month” award is a High School level award for our most dedicated students in The Visual Arts. These students are often the most academically successful because of great effort on their pieces and devotion to their craft.

The October 2023 Artists of the Month are…..BHS 12th grade Mountaineers Josephine Cummings & Madison Lenyk!

We simply could not choose between these 2 hardworking artists this month! Josie and Maddy have equally been killing it in not only their Art classes, but as active National Art Honor Society members. Both artists created Music Department logos and helped with Veteran’s Day gifts, while President Josie is diligently working on our hallway mural. These two are the Energizer Bunnies of the Art Department! Congrats to you both! Keep it up! -Ms. Colbert and Ms. DeCelle
