BNL Varsity Cross Country Wasaren League Championships Coach Recap
On Tuesday the BNL Boys Varsity XC team finished off an undefeated regular season with their 1st place win at the Wasaren League Championships! The boys came up 1 point over Stillwater and won the title! Strong performances were headed with Gabe Kalisz at the front placing 6th overall with a time of 18:23. Following him were phenomenal performances from Lance Schroder coming in 8th with a time of 19:12.7, John Savaria in 9th at 19:20.4, Seth Hendricks in 10th at 19:30.8, Aidan Van Dyk in 15th at 20:16.8, Nate Hendricks in 20th at 20:52.5, Richard Bachner in 27th at 21:52.1, Eben Donohue in 28th at 22:06.5, Finn Buckenroth in 31st at 22:40.4, and Ryan Wu in 40th at 24:28.8.
The BNL Varsity Girls had a strong showing as well! Unfortunately, we only had 3 run, which means we did not have enough runners to score as a team. We had great individual performances from Elaine Savaria who came in 18th with a time of 25:04, Vivian Whelan coming in 20th with a time of 25:08.2, and Neema Muturi coming in 21st with a time of 25:44.6. — Coach DeLuca and Coach DeCarciofolo
