A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the Middle School musicians who performed in the spring concert on June 7th. Everyone did such an amazing job and Mrs. Gould and Ms. Eliashuk couldn’t be prouder! Not only did all the groups perform well and support each other, but they did a great job cleaning up and making sure the gym was ready for classes the next day. The New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) is the New York affiliate of the National Association for Music Education. Each spring, the NYSSMA festival is held as an opportunity for students who are interested to perform a solo in front of adjudicators.
If you have a Mountaineer interested in being adjudicated at NYSSMA next school year, please make sure they reach out to Mrs. Gould or Ms. Eliashuk next fall.
