Berlin Modified Masterminds (Academic Challenge Bowl) had their last meet of the season Wednesday evening at St. Gregory’s.
Berlin played competitively the whole season and took that into their final two games. Berlin was off to a slow start against Holy Names but fought hard in the second half. Ultimately, Berlin came up short and lost 135- 140 against Holy Names. In the second game of the night Berlin won 185- 160 against St. Thomas the Apostle. Overall the team showed great teamwork on bonuses. Way to go Maddie Rontey for your power play answer and to 6th grade student, Luke Turetsky, for your two correct buzz-in answers in the second game!
