BNL 2 – Stillwater 1
BNL traveled to Stillwater for a game under the lights. Right out of the gate BNL pressed Stillwater and took over the game. BNL would be awarded a corner quick where #13 Gabriel Hart flicked a header to teammate #11 Liam Buckenroth who connected on the ball and put in the first goal. #12 Chris Shorter would find a bouncing ball behind midfield and streaked by three Stillwater defenders and passed the keeper to make the game 2-0. Stillwater would be awarded a free kick where #2 Jonah Hodgson. Would score to make the game 2-1. The second half was a 40 minute battle for both teams but neither side conceded. BNL’s defense was strong, Culbertson would end the game with 8 saves. BNL travels to Doane Stuart next Tuesday for a non league match up. -Coach Burhans
