BNL hosted Chatham for a non league tournament game with the ending result of a 2-2 tie. Chris Shorter was able to find the back of the net in the first half after creating an open net with a self header over the defense. The BNL defense was able to contain Chatham’s offensive power to end the first half up 1-0. Right out of the start of the second half Chris Shorter placed a perfect free kick onto streaking Logan Healy’s head to give BNL a 2-0 lead. Chatham didn’t go away and fought back with a successful PK and goal both from Miguel Cassarubias, assist from Jerald’s. BNL starts league play this week Monday night with Waterford-Halfmoon. -Coach Burhans
