Viewing art as digital images never compares to the real thing. On Saturday, June 11th, part of the HVCC Survey of Art History class (and a few other deserving art students) took a day trip to Boston to visit the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museums. It was a fantastic day viewing art from Ancient Civilizations up to Contemporary art today. Mrs. Colbert was especially proud when our students were explaining the art history they know to other patrons in the museum. Students even had some open studio opportunities to create too!

Thank you to Miss Delia for driving us! And to the Board of Education, Mr. Dhara and Mrs. Brownell for their transportation approval and support of this opportunity. Looking forward to more museum trips next year!
