On Saturday, February 5th, the Berlin High School Science Olympiad team traveled to Ballston Spa High school to compete in the Capital Region Science Olympiad. Science Olympiad is composed of 23 different events in multiple fields of science and engineering. Students work as partners to complete lab practicals and put their build projects to the test. Overall the team places 10th out of 17 large schools from the capital district. The students won medals in three events; Ornithology (Elsie Corbett & Cadence Church), trajectory (Charles Brand & Riley Smith) and gravity vehicle (Ashlee Evans & Josephine Cummings). Congratulations to the whole team, who put in many hours of hard work, after school, to prepare for the competition.
