Berlin-New Lebanon varsity softball played a close game against Hoosick Valley on Wednesday night. It was a good game and BNL won with a final score of 1-0. It has been awhile since varsity softball has won against Hoosick Valley and we are very proud of the girls! We want to give a special shoot-out to Bailey Catlin who had 18 strikeouts and our great defense! Keep up the great work for our next home game on Friday 5/21 against Cambridge. –Coach Pangburn and Coach Slaver

BNL Track and Field vs Mechanicville 5/18

The BNL Varsity Track and Field team won its first home meet in over fifty years beating Wasaren League powerhouses Mechanicville on Tuesday. The girls won 73-44, with very strong performances in the throws and distance races. The boys were even closer, with BNL winning 64-62. The boys’ matchup was decided by athletes stepping up to fill out distance and mid distance races, as well as jumpers recording some of their best marks of the season in order to grab the necessary points for victory. Both boys and girls teams are now 3-1 on the season, and look to continue winning ways this Saturday against Tamarac-Hoosick Falls. – Coach Burhans and Coach Kanofsky

BNL Varsity Baseball 5/17, 5/19, 5/20

Berlin-New Lebanon lost their last 3 games against Hoosick Valley, Maple Hill, and Tamarac. Although the wins are not there, the team is showing improvements in their offense by scoring more runs and getting more hits in each game.

The pitching of Kasey Billert, Wyatt Powers, Ben Rueble, Tyler Shuhart, Konnor McMilian, and Matt Corsey continue to get better every game along with Kevin Chittenden calling nice games behind the plate.

Our next game is Friday, May 21 at HOME vs. Cambridge at 5:00pm. GO B-NL
