BES Kindergarten rocked their first full week of school. The kindergarten students read the book, Kindergarten Rocks by Katie Davis, a story that helps ease any worries they may have about starting school. The students showed they were ready and excited for this year by creating a beautiful “Kindergarten Rocks” display on the BES front steps.

Mrs. Healy’s second-grade remote learners completed a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) project. The students were asked to build their name out of materials that represent them and what they are interested in. Take a look at their wonderful creations.

Mrs. Kneer and Mrs. Bersaw’s fourth-grade class made a Venn diagram to compare and contrast health habits pre and post COVID-19 pandemic.  In preparation the students read I Can Wash Up! Helping Kids Develop Healthy Habits, written and illustrated by Meg Walters.  See what the fourth-grade students discovered and the great posters they created on the topic.
