What is your education background?
I graduated from Purchase College with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science. I received my Master of Science in Art Education from the College of St. Rose.
What is your background like – previous jobs?
Before arriving at Berlin, I taught at Maple Hill High School, West Sand Lake Elementary School and photojournalism at SUNY Albany. I have worked as a photojournalist for over 15 years and continue collaborating with media outlets and private organizations.
What are your interests outside of school?
Community is important to me. As a member of the Open Spaces committee in the town of Sand Lake, we highlighted the beauty in our town by creating walking trails. I am now working to build a dog park. I find joy outside exploring the natural world and playing with Jack the dog.
