Stephanie WinnerMy name is Stephanie Winner and I am very excited to have the pleasure of working in the Berlin Central School District. Currently at Berlin, I am a Special Education teacher and an AIS math teacher. Here is a little more information about where I was before coming to Berlin!

What is your education background?

I received my bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education (1-6) from SUNY Plattsburgh, with a concentration in math and a minor in studio art. I also have a Master’s degree in Special Education (1-6) from SUNY Albany.

What is your background like – previous jobs?

This is my fifth year as an educator. I started my first year at Brighter Choice Charter School for Girls as a Special Education teacher. Then I moved over to Brighter Choice Charter School for boys for three years. There I was a Special Education teacher and a second grade teacher.

Tell us about your family?

My family is the biggest part of my life! I have a loving and caring mother and father. I have two older brothers and one identical twin sister; who is also a teacher. My family loves to have big Sunday dinners and we enjoy playing board games together.

What are your interests outside of school?

Outside of school l like to go kayaking, hiking, and I enjoy baking. Someday, I hope to hike all 46 high peaks!
