Good Evening,
I am very pleased to inform you that on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, residents of the Berlin Central School District showed up in larger numbers than previously seen to pass a $26,351,128 budget by a vote of 442 yes to 273 no. The successful budget revote includes a 2.0% tax levy increase which is below the 2.16% allowable cap set by NY State. The proposed 2026-2027 Berlin CSD Budget passed with a 62% approval.
This evening’s results are a reflection of our community’s shared commitment to putting students first and providing them with the best opportunities to succeed in school and beyond. The district values the input and engagement of residents throughout the budget revote process. The future of the Berlin Central School District shines very bright tonight. Go Mountaineers!
Sincerely,
Kenneth Rizzo
