*With few exceptions, incomplete grades may mean that a student will not be included with the names for publication at the end of each quarter:

Merit List

Based on a student’s overall quarterly average (must be 85 or higher)
If students receive one or more grades below 65 or an incomplete for a course, they will not qualify for Merit List (*until the incomplete is satisfied).

Honor Roll

Based on a student’s overall quarterly average (must be 90 or higher)
No course grade below 80
*No standing incompletes

Principal’s List

Based on a student’s overall quarterly average (must be 95–100)
No course grade below 85
*No standing incompletes

Berlin Middle High School Principal’s List Dinner and Quarter 1 Honor Roll

On Monday, December 9th, Berlin Middle High School hosted its first Principal’s List Dinner, an evening event designed with student voices at the center. This dinner was a collaboration with the Student Council, who advocated for an evening gathering to ensure more families could participate. With approximately 95 attendees, the event was a great success! It was inspiring to see so many families come together to celebrate our students and their contributions to our school community. A special thank you to the Student Council for their leadership in making this event happen. Student Council advisors Mr. Nate Ellis and Ms. Karen Day supported student council members Alexis Rifenburg, Lillian Gardell, Sophia Hart, Owen Lowry, and Madison Bell preparing the excellent dinner and dessert for all those in attendance. –Principal David Bernsley
