BHS Class of 2021 Senior Spotlights

In order to help celebrate the Class of 2021 at Berlin High School the district is spotlighting our Mountaineer graduating class. This is an opportunity to give the community insight into what interests and inspires our seniors, and a space to congratulate their outstanding achievements. Throughout these extremely demanding times, our seniors have always impressed us and kept their eyes on the prize of graduation. BCSD is proud to see them graduate and move on to bright futures.

Future plans:
My future plans consist of getting my bachelors in Criminal Justice. I am going to Hudson Valley Community College for my first two years. I’m not sure what four year I want to go to yet. I would like to be a courtroom officer.

I plan to attend Nazareth College in the fall. I am majoring in Dance Studies with a Musical Theater minor.

I’m going to be attending Siena College majoring in Political Science and minoring in Pre-Law. I can then go to Albany Law and complete my education there.

I like to spend time with my family and ride motorcycles.

Having good friends and meeting people in school was probably one of the best memories.

My favorite classes are definitely government and economics. I have by far learned the most from those classes.

Future plans:

Horseback riding, snowboarding, playing volleyball  and softball

To be a travel trauma nurse.

Movie Nights with my friends and my sophomore soccer season

I plan to go to Elmira College and major in Environmental Science. I will also be playing on their women’s soccer team.

Jordanne Brazie

Favorite activities:
Masterminds, hockey, soccer, and reading classic literature (my favs are Catcher in The Rye, Catch-22 and A Brave New World).

Best memories of high school:
Once at lunch, Joey Zwack slammed his fist on a mayo packet and it exploded all over Matt Brown and me. That was the same week Gould made one person a day carry around an obnoxiously large map of Europe, and this just happened to be my day. I had to spend the entire lunch cleaning mayo off the map.

Favorite classes:
I enjoyed all of my classes. Most notable would have to be AP Chemistry, Physics, and Siena Computer Science.

Future plans:
I currently plan on studying astrophysics at Williams College; however, I am also on the waitlist at Harvard & Penn so those plans are tentative. After college, I plan on pursuing my PhD and working for SpaceX.

I will be attending Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, and double majoring in psychology and criminology with hopes of becoming a victim advocate. I will also be running XC and Track at Le Moyne.
