Congratulations to all the instrumental students from the Berlin Central School District who were invited to take part in the Fall All County Festival on November 9. Students from just about every school district in Rensselaer County came together to rehearse in Hoosick Falls, this year’s festival host school, on November 7 and perform with choruses and bands made up of students from around the county on the 9th.
Berlin students Nathan Goodermote, Kelli Gryn, Tyler Lumpkin and Madison Rontey performed in the All County Elementary Chorus.
Matthew Goebel, Ashleigh Smerdon, Nora Colin, Elsie Corbett, Owen Lowry and Raymond Ericson represented Berlin in the All County Junior Band, managed by Berlin Instrumental teacher/Band Director Jessica Gould.
Berlin High School students Chloe Demick, Felicity Fleming, Jackson Flowers, Nikifor Popov, Christina Reger and Kendra Roberts performed in the All County Senior Chorus.
BCSD’s Instrumental teachers, Jessica Gould, Elementary choral director Katherine Labnon and Middle and High School choral director Leslie Eliashuk were very proud of the students and how they represented the district at this year’s festival.
Congratulations also goes out to Kendra Roberts and Christina Reger who continued on representing Berlin in Area All State and will be performing with the NYSSMA Zone 7 Area All State Chorus November 15 and 16, in Saratoga Springs.See more photos.
