Dear Mountaineer Families,
We want to share with you the opportunities that the Helping Hands committee offers to our Berlin families. We are a group of teachers, administrators and faculty that work to support the needs of our families and we offer several supports. We have a food pantry in both buildings that sends food home on the weekends. We offer a program that supports families during the holidays called Holiday Bears which provides support with gifts. We also offer winter coats to those who need them. Also if there is an emergency situation and items are needed, we do our best to lend a helping hand.
The food pantry will distribute food each Friday or the last day of the week we are in school. A typical bag includes cereal or other breakfast item, lunch items including soup, macaroni and cheese or pasta product as well as snacks. More information will come home with your first bag regarding details of the food pantry program.
