Today, Berlin CSD launched a new academic year. It was a beautiful morning filled with a mix of emotions, including excitement, nervousness, and some tired Mountaineers who talked of a restless night’s sleep while waiting for the alarm to go off.
Students navigated their new surroundings and were supported by the dedicated staff at both Berlin Middle High School and Berlin Elementary School, who were all hands-on deck in assisting with finding classrooms, meeting new teachers, and helping the youngest Mountaineers say goodbye for the first time as they entered their Pre-K classroom.
The importance of a smooth transition into the new academic year is essential, and everyone – from Transportation, Buildings and Grounds, Food Service, the IT Department, the Business Office, Teachers, Support Staff, the Leadership Team, and the Athletic Coaching Staff after school – was there to greet the Mountaineers and set them up for a successful school year.
Thank you to all the support at home from families who made this great kickoff to the school year possible. We look forward to seeing our Mountaineer Community grow together this school year! Thank you for your continued partnership!
