The Mountaineer W.E.B. Leaders (Where Everyone Belongs), the 6th grade Transition Program, and Link Crew, the 9th grade Transition Program, at Berlin Middle High School kicked off the 2026-2027 school year with incoming 6th and 9th graders through student-centered orientations, focusing on helping the 6th and 9th grade Mountaineers thrive in their new school environment.
W.E.B., advised by Ms. Hunt and Ms. Kelly, and Link Crew, advised by Ms. Bugbee and Ms. Murphy led activities to foster connections, confidence, and a sense of belonging, setting the stage for a supportive and inclusive learning community at BMHS.
During the first days of school, the W.E.B. and Link leaders will be familiar faces to the 6th and 9th grade students, offering guidance, support, and comfort.
The W.E.B. and Link peer mentoring programs will continue to support students throughout the school year, including check-ins and after-school social events. Stay tuned for announcements of these events throughout the year.
Thank you to W.E.B. and Link student leaders and advisors! Wishing our 6th and 9th grade students a great school year as they embark on their middle and high school years.
Go Mountaineers!!
Thank you to BMHS Art Teacher Ms. DeCelle for capturing moments from the orientation!
