Ms. Rontey, Mrs. Savaria, and Mr. Bourquard’s third graders completed their life cycle study at the end of May and the beginning of June with the release of Painted Lady Butterflies! The third graders used their unit study as they observed the butterflies daily from larvae to chrysalis and, finally, as grown Painted Lady Butterflies. The BES 3rd graders Mountaineers have added Lepidopterists to their tool belt, along with ecologist over the last month and a half!
