I am writing to clarify information regarding three final exams and related Regents exams. Please review the information below carefully, as these exams apply only to students enrolled in the specific courses listed.
HVCC U.S. History Final
- Students enrolled in Mrs. Thibeau’s HVCC U.S. History class will take their local final on Wednesday, June 17th, at 8:00 a.m.
- Students in this course are also responsible for taking the U.S. History Regents exam. Please note: based on the Regents schedule, the U.S. History Regents is listed for Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:00 a.m.
Algebra I Final and Regents
- Students enrolled in Mr. Cornell’s Algebra I class will take their local final on Tuesday, June 9th, at 8:00 a.m.
- These students are also responsible for taking the Algebra I Regents exam on Wednesday, June 17th, at 8:00 a.m.
Siena Chemistry Final
- Students enrolled in Mr. Mellor’s Siena Chemistry class will take their local final on Wednesday, June 17th, at 8:00 a.m.
- There is NO Regents exam for these students
Please make sure your child reports on time for any final exam or Regents exam they are scheduled to take. If you have any questions about your child’s specific exam schedule, please contact the main office.

Dear Mountaineer Community,
As we move into the final weeks of the school year, I want to thank you for your continued support and partnership. The end of the year is always a busy time. It is exciting, meaningful, and at times stressful, but it is also a chance to celebrate our students and reflect on the progress we have made together.
This year, we have continued to build positive momentum at Berlin Middle High School. We have focused on strengthening student attendance, increasing student engagement, celebrating academic growth, creating more opportunities for student voice, and building school pride. I am proud of the work our students and staff have done, and I appreciate the role our families continue to play in helping us move BMHS forward.

- Senior BBQ, yearbook distribution, and cap and gown distribution
Monday, June 15th
- Locker cleanout for grades 9–11
- Senior Walk Through at BES
- Spring Sports Awards at 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 16th
- Last day of school for grades 7–12
- Half day for all students in grades 6–12
- Berlin CSD Budget Vote from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the BMHS cafeteria
- Board of Education meeting at 7:15 p.m.
Friday, June 19th
- No School, Juneteenth
Tuesday, June 23rd
- 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. on the BMHS Upper Soccer Field
Wednesday, June 24th
- Senior Baccalaureate Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Berlin
- Senior Sunset following Baccalaureate
Friday, June 26th
- BMHS Commencement Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. on the BMHS Upper Soccer Field
Regents exams will continue from June 17th through June 25th. Please make sure your child reports on time for any exam they are scheduled to take. Additional Regents transportation and food service information is included in the attached Regents flyer.
