Notice from Ms. Davner:
The Rensselaer County Summer Youth Employment Program provides income-eligible youth ages 14-20 with a unique opportunity to gain meaningful job skills during the summer months through employment.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Summer Youth Employment Program. Applications are due by May 15, 2026. Applications submitted after May 15th will not be considered for employment.
Those who complete the entire application and submit by the due date are eligible to competitively interview for a position this summer. At the interview be prepared to discuss what kind of work you would like to do this summer, the transportation you will have to and from work, why you are the best candidate for a job, and whether or not you will be attending summer school. Please read and follow instructions on the application for further information and note that your Guidance Counselor needs to complete a portion of the application.
