Dear Berlin CSD Community, 

Thank you to our families who registered for the district’s Universal PreKindergarten (UPK) program by our April 1st deadline. Your timely registration has been instrumental in facilitating the planning for the district’s 2026-2027 budget. 

On April 21st, the BOE will adopt the final budget based on the current registration information in hand. The final decision on next year’s UPK program will be decided by the community at the May 19th Budget Vote. A few openings remain available on a first-come, first-served basis, and a waitlist will be established thereafter.

If you are still interested in registering your child and they will be four years old on or before December 1, 2026, please call Heather Barto at 518-658-1500 ext. 3001 or email hbarto@berlincentral.org to place your child’s name on our registration list. You will receive a registration packet by mail that must be completed and returned to the main office at the Berlin Elementary School.
